Technology that helps you grow

Machine vision technology is one of the drivers of high-grade automation and slim, highly digitalized workflows. We have specialized in machine vision systems for use in specific sectors. That means we can focus clearly on the special requirements in these sectors. And decades of experience of communicating directly with customers throughout the world means we have a wealth of knowledge that continually re-emerges through our solutions and services.

That creates lasting quality and reliability in our tried and tested standard products as well as customer-specific upgradeable modules and individually customized solutions, all of which we can offer at a cost-efficient price. That’s what has made us one of the world’s leading companies in machine vision technology.

Technology has got a special task – to shape our lifes to the better. Machine vision technology especially has got the task to shape our lifes for a safe and sustainable future.
Daniel Scholz-Stein Chief Executive Officer

Where can you find our machine vision systems?

Our systems are used, for example, to check the weld seams in automotive manufacturing and smooth the way for high-performance automation. VITRONIC's machine vision systems ensure that goods flow smoothly and efficiently. We use state-of-the art technology to optimize workflows, reduce costs and improve quality and outputs.

VITRONIC systems are also used to check that pharmaceutical products and medical devices such as insulin pens are manufactured correctly, and to monitor traffic speed limits around the world through what are generally known as “flash units”. Our toll systems fund the infrastructure operated by our customers. And much much more.

Success through service

We pursue a partnership approach. We listen carefully, define our goals with our customers and analyze the details. We always end up with a precise, robust system that meets the trickiest of requirements.

We often hear from our customers that what they particularly value is our first-class service and the fact that we provide technology they can rely on.

Our concept of service goes far beyond looking after the systems produced by us. We see ourselves as a solution-oriented partner: We help our customers to optimize their processes, always with an eye to the context in which they are used.

Of course, we also provide support on compliance requirements or certification. Additionally, we have experienced project managers with PRINCE2 certification available for professional management of projects of all sizes—from single contracts to projects with values of tens of millions of euros.

A global group of companies

Despite being a global player with group companies on almost all continents, we still manage to retain a family atmosphere. VITRONIC founder Dr. Norbert Stein handed over the CEO role to the next generation, Daniel Scholz-Stein, in 2020. Today, together with the ITIS Holding Group, we are even stronger in the global markets and offer further advanced solutions - “engineered in Germany”.

Most of our 1,400 employees work at our headquarters in Wiesbaden. 900 colleagues are part of the research, development, design, production and administration teams based there. Our presence in the different regions with around 500 employees across the globe reflects our focus on fostering strong local partnerships, boosting regional value with our sustainable and precise machine vision systems.

I like the fact that despite our size we have been able to maintain our family nature.
