For five years, VITRONIC has supported the children’s hospice Zwerg Nase in Wiesbaden. To celebrate this anniversary, we are donating two modern therapy beds that give severely ill children greater freedom of movement, ease the burden on care staff, and bring a sense of independence and joy into their daily lives.
Since its founding in 2005, Zwerg Nase House has been much more than a medical facility. It is a place where seriously ill children and young adults experience a sense of security, safety, and new perspectives. With 84 places, the house provides families in difficult situations with a loving home that unites medical care, compassion, and hope.
The special thing: Zwerg Nase House is tailored to the individual needs of its residents. From areas such as "Rotkehlchen" for children requiring ventilation, to specialized hospice spaces for young adults, the facility creates spaces where closeness, normality, and enjoyment of life are palpable.
This year, 2025, Zwerg Nase House celebrates its 15th anniversary – a milestone representing consistency, tireless commitment, and genuine humanity. Behind this success is a team that, with heart, empathy, and professionalism, supports children and families each and every day and enables them to enjoy a better quality of life.
For five years now, VITRONIC has been a partner of Zwerg Nase House. What began with an initial donation has developed into an enduring relationship. Over the years, this has become a strong sign of continuity, trust, and shared values.
For VITRONIC, this commitment is much more than a symbolic gesture: it is an expression of our belief that social responsibility should be practiced not only globally but also right on our doorstep in Wiesbaden. We are convinced that innovation and technology are most effective when combined with humanity and compassion. That is why our partnership with Zwerg Nase House is a project close to our hearts – one we deliberately and continuously foster and develop.
We have been working with Zwerg Nase for over five years now. As a local company, we take on responsibility and are proud to have such a committed and socially-minded partner by our side.
To mark this anniversary year, we don’t just want to offer congratulations—we want to provide real support. That’s why we are donating two modern therapy beds, specially developed for the children’s unique needs.
These beds are height-adjustable, offer ergonomic working conditions for care staff, and provide safety for ventilated children through special tube management. At the same time, they create a comfortable atmosphere and allow young residents to move around the bed safely and independently.
For the children, this means more personal space, more self-determination, and moments of lightness in everyday life. For care staff, the beds are a valuable relief that makes daily routines easier and creates more room for personal attention. In this way, they directly help to sustainably improve quality of life and remove barriers.
Our beds are individually adapted to each child and also allow children without wheelchairs to be actively involved in daily life.
Our partnership with Zwerg Nase House is more than a social project to us—it’s an expression of our company values. VITRONIC connects innovative technology with social responsibility. We believe that technology only reaches its full value when it benefits people and makes life more livable.
Five years of partnership and fifteen years of Zwerg Nase House are a powerful demonstration of the importance of taking responsibility together. Together, we want to inspire hope, open up new perspectives, and show that global responsibility always begins locally—here, in our hometown of Wiesbaden.
Every bit of support for our Zwerg Nase children is valuable. In a time when financial assistance for care facilities is becoming increasingly rare, VITRONIC gives us security.
